Commercial Offer

Use Commercial Offer when you need to add or edit product prices in Actualog.

Prices are not stored directly on the Product. A price belongs to a Sales Catalog offer for one exact Product Pack. That is why the usual path is: open a Sales Catalog, open its Products area, choose the product, and edit the commercial offer row for the pack you want to sell.

What an offer represents

A Commercial Offer connects one Sales Catalog to one exact Product Pack and stores the terms under which that pack is sold.

The relationship is:

Product → Product Pack → Sales Catalog offer

The Product contains technical and marketing data. The Product Pack defines the sellable quantity and optional physical Package. The offer contains price, ordering rules, availability, and publication state.

One Product can therefore have several independent offers in the same Catalog:

  • 1 piece;
  • box of 2 pieces;
  • carton of 10 pieces;
  • reel of 100 metres.

Changing one offer does not change the other pack offers.

Opening and closing the editor

Open Edit commercial offer from a Product card in Catalog Products. The editor expands only for that Product and keeps the existing Product search, Category filters, Attribute filters, paging, and display mode.

Use the close button to collapse the editor without removing the Product from the Catalog. The red trash button on the Product card removes the Product from the Catalog assortment.

Product Pack

Each row is one Product Pack that has the Can be ordered role.

The automatic one-unit base Product Pack is always available. Saving its first offer materializes a stable Product Pack ID. Additional Product Packs come from Category defaults or Product-specific packaging.

Use Add or manage Product Packs when the required quantity is missing. Product Pack creation does not copy a price or stock value.

Offer fields

Price

Price is the amount charged for one selected Product Pack, not for one underlying Product unit unless the Product Pack itself is the one-unit base.

Example: if the row is a box of 10 pieces, a price of 150.00 means 150.00 for one box.

Currency

Currency is selected from Actualog's supported currency directory. The Catalog default currency is preselected for a new offer. A saved offer may use another supported currency.

Do not type currency symbols into Price and do not use internal abbreviations that are not valid currency codes.

Availability

Availability describes how the Company fulfils this exact Product Pack offer.

From available stock

Use this mode when completed Product Packs are held in inventory and can be allocated to orders.

The stock fields become relevant:

  • On hand — physical quantity of this exact Product Pack currently held by the Company.
  • Reserved — quantity already committed to existing orders or allocations.
  • Available — calculated as On hand − Reserved.

Stock quantities are counts of the Product Pack row. If the row is a box of 10, On hand = 6 means six boxes, not six individual Products.

Actualog does not derive box stock from piece stock or split one pack level into another automatically.

Made to order

Use this mode when the Product Pack is produced, assembled, cut, filled, or packed after an order is accepted.

Made-to-order offers do not require a fake On hand balance. Minimum order, order step, and preparation time describe how the offer can be ordered.

Minimum order

Minimum order is the smallest number of Product Packs accepted in one order.

Examples:

  • minimum 1 for a box that can be bought individually;
  • minimum 5 for a wholesale carton offer;
  • minimum 10 for a made-to-order cable reel.

Order step

Order step is the allowed increment after the minimum.

Examples:

  • minimum 1, step 1: 1, 2, 3, 4 packs;
  • minimum 10, step 5: 10, 15, 20, 25 packs;
  • minimum 2, step 2: 2, 4, 6, 8 packs.

Both values are expressed in Product Packs, not in the contained base quantity.

Ready to ship in

Ready to ship in is the preparation time in days before the Product Pack can be dispatched.

Use it for:

  • production or packing time for Made-to-order offers;
  • handling time for stock that is not ready for immediate dispatch;
  • channel export when a destination requires preparation or lead-time information.

It is not transit time and does not include carrier delivery duration.

Available for sale

Available for sale enables this Product Pack as an offer in the current Sales Catalog.

Turn it off to withdraw the offer while preserving its saved price, rules, stock relationship, and history. Closing the editor does not change this setting.

Merchant-created multipack

Merchant-created multipack is an advanced marketplace setting stored on the Catalog offer.

Select it only when the merchant combines several identical manufacturer-defined units into a new sales multipack. The Product Pack quantity must be a discrete integer.

Do not select it for:

  • a box, case, or pack defined by the manufacturer;
  • a Product Pack that already has its own manufacturer GTIN;
  • different Products bundled together;
  • a logistics-only pallet or case.

This distinction is required by Google Merchant. Other connectors may ignore the setting.

Save

Save writes the terms for the current Product Pack row. Each row is saved independently. A successful save uses the standard Actualog notification and retains the editor state.

Where stock belongs

Stock belongs to the Company and exact Product Pack. It is not a Product attribute and is not copied into every Catalog.

Several Sales Catalogs can therefore reference the same Company stock position for the same Product Pack while retaining different prices and order rules.

Current Product Pack stock is not a warehouse-location model. Do not interpret it as a complete warehouse management system.

Product Pack changes and offer safety

A Product Pack used by an offer cannot be deleted. Deactivate the Product Pack if it must no longer be selected for new work, and disable the Catalog offer when it must no longer be sold.

Changing Product attributes can change resolved logistics for the automatic base Product Pack according to the Category Logistics Shape Profile. Explicit Product Pack weight and Package dimensions continue to follow their normal precedence.

Marketplace export

Google Merchant export uses the exact Product Pack selected by the offer:

  • Product title, description, image, and destination link come from Product/Catalog data;
  • price and currency come from the offer;
  • availability comes from supply mode and exact-pack stock;
  • shipping weight and dimensions come from resolved Product Pack logistics;
  • GTIN comes from the Product Pack identifier first;
  • merchant-created multipack is exported only when explicitly enabled and valid.

Run preflight before generating a feed. Missing price, invalid currency, ambiguous identifiers, incomplete logistics, or invalid multipack intent are reported as issues instead of being guessed.

Example: individual and box offers

A Product has:

  • automatic base Product Pack: 1 piece;
  • Product Pack: Box for two sensors, quantity 2 pieces.

The Sales Catalog can contain:

Product Pack Price Supply On hand Minimum / step Status
1 piece EUR 95 From available stock 40 1 / 1 Available for sale
Box of 2 EUR 175 From available stock 8 boxes 1 / 1 Available for sale

The second row price is for one box. Its stock is eight boxes. Actualog does not automatically convert the forty individual pieces into twenty boxes.

Common mistakes

  • Do not enter the price of one piece on a multi-piece Product Pack row.
  • Do not record pieces in the stock fields of a box or pallet row.
  • Do not use Reserved as a manual correction to On hand; it represents committed stock.
  • Do not choose Made to order merely because current stock is zero. Use it only when fulfilment genuinely starts after ordering.
  • Do not remove the Product from the Catalog merely to close the offer editor.
  • Do not use Merchant-created multipack for manufacturer packaging.
